Seville Airport is Andalusia's second airport and is ideally situated behind Malaga. Seville being Andalucia's capital had approximately 4.8 million people passing through this airport in 2008, with 65,063 flights operating.

The airport at Seville was designed on the basis of its cultural roots, using the commonly found components; the orange trees, the mosque and the palace. On arriving at the airport you are greeted by orange groves, the hall has a blue light effect because of the glazed tiles on the roof, and is crowned by lines of arches supported by vaults.
